This easy-to-assemble Accurail 40' Steel Reefer w/Plug Doors kit is based on ice-cooled refrigerator cars that operated during the transition and classic diesel eras. This model kit features a one-piece detailed injection-molded plastic body with most details molded in place for durability during operation. Other features include realistic decoration with end reporting marks (on decorated models), underbody details, trucks with Delrin wheelsets, nonmagnetic axles and AccuMate(R) magnetic knuckle couplers.
This steel reefer kit is great for modelers of all skill levels and includes complete instructions. The 40' Steel Reefer is one of many Accurail HO Scale refrigerator car kits.
