American Limited Models HO Scale Working Diaphragm kits make adding operating diaphragms to your passenger cars and locomotives fast and fun. They're accurate models of specific prototypes.
Easy-to-build kits feature injection-molded plastic parts, in black or gray plastic. Sprung to hold together on curves down to 24" radius, no minimum radius limitation. Will not interfere with operation of most couplers. All working diaphragm kits include complete instructions.
Kits are designed to fit specified cars and cab unit locomotives. Check out the variety of American Limited HO passenger car diaphragms.
Can be modified to look like Pullman or Budd diaphragms. Fit on Athearn Streamliners.
HO Diaphragm for 1 car. Duplicates an ACF, Pullman or Budd diaphragm on most cars including Athearn and Rivarossi with Kadee® coupler conversions. Close the gap with our innovative injection molded operating diaphragms. This easy to assemble kit turns a string of passenger cars into a train. Diaphragms stay connected in turn radii over 24 inches and have no minimum radius for smooth operation. Diaphragms are designed for Kadee #5, Intermountain and McHenry couplers unless otherwise noted. Instructions are included with all kits.
