Based on trucks made by American Steel Foundries (ASF) and used under many modern-era freight cars. ASF has been a major producer of freight car trucks for over a century. To this day, the ASF truck designs, specifically the Ride Control family, are a common sight under rail cars all across North America.
100-Ton trucks with 36" wheels are perfect for larger modern cars such as coal gondolas and grain hoppers. Wheelsets on these 100-ton trucks are designed for use on Code 55 and larger rail, insulated on both sides and have metal axles. This pack includes two complete trucks with no attached couplers.
