The Atlas NE-6 Caboose is based on cars used by several railroads. The Nickel Plate Road-style cars feature side windows closer to the ends of the car than on the New Haven-style models. Each car features an injection-molded body with multiple body styles as appropriate, applied plastic or etched-metal details, fine decoration, heavy die cast underframe, window glazing and AccuMate(R) magnetic knuckle couplers. NE-6 Cabooses were long lived on many railroads and their successors.
