Cost effective wireless operation with infrared technology UR90X is a front panel unit that is an infrared receiver. All current production Digitrax throttles are factory equipped with infrared capabillity, just add one or more UR90X's and you're wireless! Infrared is a line of site technology so you will probably need more than one UR90X for your layout. UR90X also includes a LocoNet Throttle jack on the front for plugging in your throttles as needed. In addition there are two LocoNet Jacks on the back for hooking up to other LocoNet devices on your layout.
UR90X Features:
- Simplifies hookup, maintenance and troubleshooting of LocoNet.
- All connections plug-detachable.
- One RJ12 Throttle Jacks in front panel.
- IR and NET Indicator LEDs
- Two RJ12 LocoNet Jacks in rear for connection to other LocoNet devices. Use with 6 conductor telephone cable with RJ12 6-pin connectors and daisy chain your LocoNet ports around the layout.
- “Power sharing” charge Circuitry for throttles connected to six Universal Panels. (External 12V supply required for this optional DT602/UT6 charging source in sleep mode).
NOTE!: PS14 external power supply (or similar) is required for operation
Note: Most layouts require more than one UR90X because Infrared is line of sight and the UR90Xs must be able to "see" the signals for reliable operation. Recommended for indoor use only.
