ESU 59741, LokPilot 5 Micro DCC Direct Kato USA ~ N Scale
The LokPilot 5 micro DCC Direct Kato USA has been specially developed for installation in N scale locomotives of the Kato USA brand. It can be easily installed in most American diesel locomotives from Kato in place of the analog board installed as standard. With its dimensions of 60.0mm x 10.1mm it is a pure DCC decoder.
Modes
A "pure-bred" DCC decoder: 14 to 128 speed steps, 2- and 4-digit addresses and up to 32 functions. Thanks to RailComPlus® the decoder logs in automatically to a suitable command station, and with RailCom® CV values can be read on the main track. It detects Märklin® brake sections, ZIMO® HLU / ZACK and Lenz® ABC, brakes with DCC brake blocks or DC voltage, and stops at a Selectrix® brake diode. It also runs on analog DC layouts and switches between modes on the fly.
Functions
Two directly soldered SMD LEDs for front and rear headlights. For older models, two 3mm LEDs can be soldered and controlled separately (resistor protected), plus three further function outputs (not resistor protected). The brightness of each output can be set separately.
Motor
Variable PWM motor control from 10kHz to 50kHz for super-quiet operation, load control adjustable with up to 10 CVs, and the "Autotune" function to match the decoder to the motor automatically. Up to 0.9A motor current.
Reliability & Protection
A PowerPack can be connected via the logic-level output AUX6 to bridge dirty track. All outputs are overload protected.
