CHO YANG LINE - The company was founded in 1961 and based in Seoul, South Korea. Provided container and vessel services. In 1999, CHO YANG was ranked # 19 of top 50 container carriers. In May 2001, Cho Yang suspended services to the U.S., and Cho Yang's U.S. headquarters in New York, which has headed up the Cho Yang (America) operation closed. CHO YANG LINES ceased operations in 2001, due to financial issues.
China Shipping, Hanjin Shipping and Senator Lines moved to fill the void left by CHO YANG LINES closing.
