Built in 1975 by Pullman-Standard for Railbox, this 50’ boxcar with Roller Bearing trucks was hastily repatched and placed into Burlington Northern series 249242-249460. Burlington Northern was formed through the mergers of Great Northern and Northern Pacific in 1970, and then merged with ATSF in 1995 to form BNSF.
