This two-bay covered hopper with Barber Roller Bearing trucks was designed to transport high-density granular commodities such as sand, plastic pellets or chemical powders. The Winchester & Western Railroad is a shortline based on the East Coast, with trackage through Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland and New Jersey. Incorporated in 1916, the Winchester & Western still operates today.
