DR-0952 10-0 PS B Plate Sliding Door, intermittent ribs
Designed for any B Plate sliding door boxcar that came delivered or has been retrofitted with this style of door. This is the door Pullman-Standard designed in the ‘60s to replace the common PS door of the forties and fifities. Note that this type of door design has the intermittent rib arrangement, ordered originally by railroads; D&H, DT&I, L&N, NSL, PC, PRV, RBOX, Reading, SJL, etc. But was also commonly used as a replacement door on just about any Plate B boxcar made.
