Upgrade any cushioned underframe car with a cushioning unit from American Car & Foundry (ACF). This FREIGHT-SAVER 20B is designed without the need for a return spring and therefore reduce weight. The almost identical FREIGHT-SAVER 20A is used as a retro-fit unit on previously rigid frame cars and basically has narrower mounting pads. See the prototype photo of a Newsprint car.
