MRC ~ Wired Throttlepack ~ Walk Around Handheld Throttle ~ 1325
This item is used with the Throttle pack 9900 (#0001310) and Throttle pack 9950 (#0001320).
This handheld controller will provide walk-around capability for your DC layout.
For Your Protection
1. Never reverse a locomotive without stopping it first. To do so may
damage the locomotive motor.
2. Unplug your power supply at the end of the day’s operation.
3. Children under the age of 14 should be supervised by an adult when
operating this product.
Operation
Your power pack has a built-in jack for the handheld controller. The handheld
operates in the same way as the main unit, except it can’t set momentum. Only
the main unit can set the momentum (on or off). After adding the controller, your
layout will now have two throttles, but only one may be used at a time. You must
select either the main unit or the handheld controller to operate the throttle speed.
To select which throttle is active, press any button associated with the throttle.
Simply moving the throttle will not activate the controller. For example, if the
throttle on the main unit is currently active, and you want to switch to the
handheld, just tap the brake button on the handheld. This will make the loco
speed follow the handheld setting. Later, if you want to switch back to the throttle
on the main unit, just tap the brake button on the main unit. As a precaution, we
recommend matching the two throttle settings before making the switch, in order
to avoid the locomotive speed abruptly changing; risking damage or derailment.
