The N18+ Decoder Buddy no capacitor was developed to address the tight spaces available for decoder installation in a locomotive and include a stay alive. This Decoder Buddy minimizes the height required installation. The proven performance of the Power Bridge III stay alive along with its compact size provided a good method for combining the N18 and the Power Bridge III with the idea of remote capacitors to make the size small and make the fit versatile. Up to six lighting functions are available. NTZ16 DOES NOT include capacitors. Two 2.7volt capacitors connected in series must be used for the Power Bridge to work properly. Failure to do as described will cause the Power Bridge to fail.
