The N18+ Decoder Buddy 0.5F was developed to address the tight spaces available for decoder installation in a locomotive and include a stay alive. This Decoder Buddy minimizes the height required installation. The proven performance of the Power Bridge III stay alive along with its compact size provided a good method for combining the N18 and the Power Bridge III with the idea of remote capacitors to make the size small and make the fit versatile. Up to six lighting functions are available. NTZ15 includes two 1F capacitors. Both capacitors must be used in series. These two capacitors are a little larger than the 0.3F capacitors
