With the V 200.1 in the BR 221 version, PIKO brings one of the most popular diesel locomotives of the German Federal Railway to the G gauge tracks. The lovingly constructed model impresses with the successful realisation of the proportions of the universally used locomotives and offers various highlights: The doors and windows of the drivers cab can be opened. The digital version of the model has a matching PSD XP sound decoder ex works, which can be used to switch the lighting in the drivers cab, engine room and running gear area. Numerous sound functions as well as two pulsed vaporisers at the exhaust outlets and the boiler steam make model railway operation even more realistic. Whether in front of express trains or in heavy goods train traffic - the BR 221 from PIKO always cuts a very fine figure and impresses with its excellent driving characteristics thanks to its tried and tested drive technology.
