Conrail (CR) 959H “Repaint 1976” illustrates Despatch Shops Incorporated’s take on the GATC 4700 design. DSI built 400 Lot 959-H clones in 1965 that share the GATC “look” except for one major feature: DSI applied a welded roof vs. the standard GATC ribbed roof.
