Crimson / ivory basic paint scheme. Continuous rain gutter, skirting, and buffer sheathing. The locomotive looks as it did around 1971 for the TEE "Rheinpfeil". Use: Passenger trains in long-distance service and occasionally also in commuter and freight service.

Warm white LEDs are used for the lighting, and they can be controlled digitally. The locomotive has a close coupler mechanism. The locomotive has separately applied grab irons.
