The 50' ACF 5250 Centerflow covered hopper hauled plastic pellets, grain and feed from the 1960s into the 2000s. Based on the American Car & Foundry 5,250 cubic foot capacity design, decorated models feature trough or round hatches and gravity or pneumatic gates as appropriate. These models feature:
- See-through running boards
- Thin-profile roofwalk, stirrups, end ladders and platforms
- Correct 36" turned-metal wheelsets
- Proto MAX(TM) metal knuckle couplers
