First introduced in 2012 to comply with strict EPA Tier 4 emissions standards, the ET44AC is the latest addition to General Electric’s Evolution Series of locomotives. These 4,400 hp diesels have set a new standard for heavy hauling freight locomotives in North America. The WalthersMainline model captures all the main spotting features of the Tier 4, including its 16" longer length, larger radiators and modified exhaust and cooling systems. These locomotives have become the modern standard for freight haulage across North America, and various other countries the world over where heavy tonnage requires the 4,400 horsepower provided by these units.

• Prototypically accurate RP-25 metal wheels

• Pre-installed 11mm x 15mm sugar cube speaker
• Correct profile radiator grilles and roof-top walkway surface details
• 2- or 3-vent dynamic brake vent as appropriate
• Can easily handle 18" radius curves (22" or larger recommended)
