The N18 Decoder Buddy was developed to address the tight spaces available for decoder installation in a locomotive. This Decoder Buddy minimizes the height required installation. It is also for users who require less than 6 lighting outputs and includes pads for a two wire stay alive. Ease of upgrade and the reliability of soldered joints along with the departure from the rigidity of plug in lighting connectors makes this a very good candidate for upgrades and conversions.
